In this body of work I am using traces of pink on sculptural garments and structures to question its projection of empowerment vs. exploitation on feminine clothing and fast fashion. In doing so, I analyze the relationship between the use of Pink as a commodity for consumer-based performative feminism and its power to create joy and confidence in identity and sexuality.
